Online booking for tattoo artists

Deposits up front. Briefs up front.
Flakes filtered out.

Consultations book themselves with the design brief already attached, every booking carries the deposit your studio already insists on, and day sessions block the hours they actually take. The DM pile becomes a diary.

Everyone wants a sleeve in a DM.
Fewer want it after a deposit.

Tattoo enquiries are enthusiasm-rich and commitment-poor. A booking flow that takes the brief, the placement, the reference images conversation and the deposit before a slot is held filters the dreamers politely and automatically, and your artists draw for people who show up.

A studio day with Booksmith

Needles down only for people who booked.

  1. 10:15

    Consults with context

Today's consultations arrive with their briefs: style, placement, size, budget band, the artist they asked for. Fifteen minutes of useful conversation instead of forty of discovery.

  2. 13:00

    A half-day session holds half a day

Session types block real time: a two-hour piece, a half-day, a full day. Buffer time for setup and breakdown is built into each.

  3. 18:20

    Deposit paid, flake risk gone

Tonight's booking for next month paid its deposit through Stripe at the moment of booking. If they vanish, the slot reopens for the waitlist and the deposit did its job.

Built for the studio

What studios actually use.

The brief at booking

Style, placement, size, coverup or fresh, budget expectations: your questions, asked per service, answered before anyone picks up a pencil.

Deposits, enforced evenly

Per-service card deposits through the studio's own Stripe. The policy you already have, applied without a single awkward conversation.

Sessions that block honest time

Consults, small pieces, half-days and full days each hold the right hours, with setup buffers, per artist.

A diary per artist

Each artist's own days, styles and column. Guest artists switch on for a fortnight and off again.

Age and health checks up front

Booking questions can require date of birth confirmation and surface health conditions your artists need to know about before the day.

Reminders for the long lead times

Tattoos book weeks out and get forgotten. Reminders the day before and hour before protect slots that can't be refilled on short notice.

Questions we get

Asked in the studio, answered straight.

Can deposits be different per artist or per piece size?

Yes. Deposits are set per service, and services can be structured per artist and per session length, so a full-day sitting can carry a much larger deposit than a consult.

What happens to the deposit on a no-show?

The money went to your Stripe account at booking, so your existing deposit policy applies; the system's attendance tracking gives you the record. Cancellation windows are enforced automatically.

Can clients attach reference images?

The booking form captures the written brief and links (Pinterest boards, Instagram saves). Most studios keep image exchange to email after the consult books, using the brief to prepare.

We have guest artists monthly. Easy to handle?

Two clicks: add them as staff with their own dates and services for the window they're in, and hide them after.
